Excellent Dryer!

I really wanted something that would last me years, so I really did my homework on washers and dryers. I'd heard about the Speed Queen brand before so I specifically started there. I am SO happy with the dryer, my last one would take at least 2 hours to dry my clothes. What I most love about this one is the lint trap, it's not a "black hole" where the lint falls and you never see it again. I love that it's easy to clean out and things don't fall to the unknown. I also love that I can choose the heat settings for more delicate items I might not want to dry with higher heat. The higher price is so worth it for this machine!

Good dryer

Have used it for over a year. Overall the machine works very well, however, a lot of lint accumulates inside the dryer and the dryer takes longer and longer to work. We regularly need to clean the lint within. The way the lint catching net is put, it can allow a lot of lint to pass inside the dryer. But if we clean the lint, the dryer works very well.

Sensor drying

I would give this a 5 out of 5 star but I have some issues with some of my cloth still being damp after the dryer finishes. Even though I select the medium heat and dry. So I have to run a timed dryer cycle to complete the drying.

Like upgrading from a gas to turbo-diesel pickup

What an upgrade from other brands out there. You can tell that the Speed Queen is much more solid, better constructed, and smoother operating that competitors. Ya get what you pay for. Very happy with my purchase.

I had to get rid of my Maytag set that had too many issues. Chose the Speed Queen & so far they work great & I am loving them. My clothes are cleaner & get done much faster than the other machine.
