Can’t use bulky or heavy option

Anytime I try to use the bulky or heavy option, cannot happen without water getting all over my garage. I’ve tried to set up someone to come out to check my machine through the warranty and the only company that has decent reviews will not work with a machine that is under warranty. Can use them but would need to pay them…what is the purpose of a warranty??

Great Dryer (and washer)!

Only had the dryer (and companion TR washer) a little over a month, but so far everything is great and very pleased with my purchase. Used the online recommendation of getting wool dryer balls and noticed clothes, sheets and towels come out softer and less wrinkled. The large door and lit interior make it easy to load and unload (and not leave anything behind).

Overall love the new dryer. Quieter than our last unit and very intuitive. Only complaint so far is we like to run our clothes on Low, and the only sensor option is delicates. If we run full dry, delicates the sensor doesn't do a great job of actually getting it fully dry if there is any combination of towels and clothes. Usually just need to run it a few more minutes on a timed dry after. Hoping to narrow in on another setting we like that can get it consistently dry in one go.

I purchased this dryer to replace a 25 yr old MayTag that worked perfectly but looked bad!
Rusty and out of date. The first dryer that was delivered did not work - it didn't dry the clothing and turned out to have a sensor problem. It was replaced with this upgraded model which is now 3 weeks old and continues to work perfectly. While I tend to be weary of too many controls, they offer the variety of options I wanted. Time will tell how great of a machine it is.

Already broke. 😡

We specifically bought the Speed Queen washer AND dryer because we'd had enough of having to repair our Kenmores. We read how durable and high quality they were, and so we spent the extra money. Now, not even a couple of months later, the dryer is giving out error messages and not drying even small loads. We're hoping the tech will find it's just a small fix.

Washing machine defective.

Washing machine has not worked since it was delivered. Called warranty number but it took 8 days for repairman to come to house. He said the motor on drain is defective and he said he needs to order parts to fix machine.

DR7 works great but has a rattling problem

The new DR7 dryer functions very well but has a rattling problem. So far the retailer that sold us the DR7 cannot identify why it rattles, or fix it. So far we are very disappointed. This new DR7 should not have been sold at a retailer in this condition. We have a TR7 washer and it is absolutely wonderful. We will currently give the recommendation below of No until it is fixed.

Best Puchase Ever

I had a dryer for 30 years and when it finally went out I started looking around. My daughter heard good things about Speed Queen so we went to look. This is the best dryer ever and I hope it lasts for as long as the other one. A lot of cycle choices. Gets the clothes dry in a short amount of time. I have no comlpaints and would highly recommend Speed Queen. Thank you!!
