Doesn’t dry clothes

We have tried using different settings but the load of clothes is never completely dry. We have to then use the timed dry feature to add more time for drying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Jayelle54! That does seem unusual. One easy thing to check is the venting on the machine. If its blocked, crushed, or restricted in any way, this is going to impact the drying times or performance. We’d recommend having the venting cleaned periodically, and also ensure the right venting material is being used. Our dryers should be installed with either semi-rigid or rigid metal venting material. If all of this checks out and the concern continues, please let us know through our Customer Support Line at 800-552-5475, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4pm Central Standard Time).

I am happy with the stainless steal drum and this shows quality!

We reviewed all brands of washer/dryer combos and decided on Speed Queen even though it was more expensive. It has been the best appliance we have owned. My clothes, including bedspreads come clean and the drum does not get unbalanced in the spin cycle. Thrilled to have a steam feature in the dryer. The best thing is it is American Made!
