Original Wave was better:cry:

I have the original Embr Wave that I love but that my hubby has started to use after a large weight loss and he has now taken it over. The 2 is definitely not as good as the one. The on and off buttons being on the side get accidentally turned on because of wrist movements no matter which side they are on. Never have to worry about that with the old one. The weight isn’t distributed where it’s comfortable to wear for any length of time. I kept mine an all day before, not anymore. The round gets hooked on sleeves easier, making it move on my wrist more thus having to readjust over and over. MORE cooling and heat with the square one over my veins then with the round. Yes, I will keep it because I’m obviously past the trial period but not a fan at all of this new more expensive style. Sometimes a “good thing” doesn’t need changing. Any old ones left over? I probably won’t be recommending the new wave as the “new” price and style definitely bombed. Sorry.

Debra, we're sorry to hear you're not a fan of the changes we made for the Wave 2. One tip that we recommend (for either Wave 1 or Wave 2) is to wear it a little farther up your forearm so that your hand doesn't touch the device when you bend and move. Most users find this more comfortable since you'll have freer range of motion and it keeps the device a little more out of the way. I wish the cool sensation would last longer, over a longer period of time. I have MS so keeping my body temperature cold, makes me feel a lot better. I wish you had an insert to go in my shoes. MS patients experience hot feet.

I love my Wave 2; I wear it as much as possible since it makes my hot flashes so much more bearable. Wearing it overnight also seems to keep me from waking up. It’s utterly fabulous.

Very discreet, no one knows I'm using what I consider to be a medical device!Took a few times before I figured the right placement and length of cooling but now just turn on and tap twice for great cooling effect. I HAVE BEEN PLAGUEED BY HOT FLAASHES DUE TO MULTIPLE STROKES, THIS HAS BEEN GREAT. I also suffer from what I call inside-out chills due to fibromyalgia, this works quite well for warming me without having to pile on blankets and get too hot. I have told several friends about it as well as some strangers. Just gave a nurse info on it last weekend

This Has Helped Me So Much,

I purchased the Wave 2 as kind of a last resort, I was really struggling with hot flashes (and last winter cold flashes - who knew that was a thing?) that were impacting my daily life. As a cancer survivor I am unable to take any hormone supplements. I am so glad I tried this. It has exceeded my expectations and brought me great comfort and relief. I’ve already told my Primary Care doctor and Oncologist about the Wave 2 hoping it may help others in the same boat. It’s a great device. i love it.

A life changer!

Since preventative cancer surgery 5 years ago, I’ve had intense hot flashes, occurring ca. 15 times during the day and continuing during the night. I have been using Embr Wave 2 now for two weeks. It has changed my life! I use the hot flash relief many times throughout the day and it stops them in their tracks! It seems that my body is learning to respond quicker to the cooling effects as well. I am also very impressed with the warming programs. These have been very useful while traveling, as planes and hotel rooms are often very cold. I can HIGHLY recommend Embr Wave 2!
