I’ve been obsessed with the Embr Wave 1 for quite awhile, so I quickly ordered the Wave 2 as soon as I saw it was available for pre-order. The Wave 2 is more compact, and gets caught on much less due to the round edges. The settings are a little more customizable than the first version. It does seem that the battery in this does not last as long (I normally charge it about once a day). I always brag about “my Embr” and I’m so glad to show off both versions :)

I love it! It’s worth the investment to be able to control my body temperature! I’d highly recommend ordering one for yourself!!

I was SOOOO hopeful. Doesn’t work to reduce any hot flashes. A bit too bulky to wear on a daily basis. The return process was easy and I received a prompt refund.

I love the Embr Wave 2. That being said I also thing there are ways to make it better. I would love to be able to customize like a work setting and name it work that way I know which one is set higher and longer for work. But it has been a game changer for me. I wear it at work when I sleep as often as I can. I love it.

Belated thank you and a note to let you know that this is possible in the app: Tap the three dots in the upper corner of any session under Last Used, and you'll be able to select Edit, Rename, or Preset (which lets you assign any session to one of your Wave's two buttons). So after you've edited a session to be just right for you, you can rename it to whatever you like so it will always be easy to find!

Exactly what I needed to mitigate continuous hot flashes resulting from 2 years of receiving Lupron injections for high risk prostate cancer.
I alternate between the 10 minute hot flash cooling and the 60 minute cool down options on my Wave 2. Both work extremely well when set to maximum cooling.
I am pleased with the Embr Wave 2 and strongly endorse this product particularly for anyone experiencing hot flashes due to androgen deprivation therapy.

LOVE the new Embr Wave 2!

LOVE the new Embr Wave 2! I bought one of the first Embr Wave personal thermostats... mostly because I was overheating quite often.
First, some thoughts on the original... that will lead to why I love the NEW & much improved one:)
The cooling features (of the original) were awesome. But, it was too bulky and the toggle button on the front would too easily get pushed when it was in a bag. Also the light was too bright for me to use it when sleeping... I'm light sensitive at night.
Nonetheless, I wore and enjoyed my first Embr Wave. (Even occasionally using the heating feature:) I shared how great it was with many others... but, really hoped they would create something smaller, with better design.
(Also, the metal would heat up a good bit after I had cooled down... which counter acted the "cooling" feature!!)
When I saw the new Embr Wave 2, I wanted one... especially liked the Rose color since I don't wear a lot of other jewelry. (So, I invested.)
The great thing about the Embr Wave is you have 30 days to return it... IF it does not work for you!!
What do I love about the New Embr Wave 2... now that I have it?
It's stylish, comfortable... REALLY cools me down (FYI, it does not literally chill me, but DOES help me recover from overheating much faster:)... it also has small buttons on side that will not be accidentally pressed.
Love the metal band... and it easily charges. (Much better than first edition.)
Haven't tried for sleep yet. Do like that I can see how much charge is left with my app. I have already recommended the Embr Wave 2 (even before I got mine)... and love sharing with others.
Honestly, in this strange world we live in now... it's great to have a bit more control over my temperature. It was worth every cent!

Mind blown life changer!

Love this product! I've been stalking it for years, but the price point wasn't appealing. I've been on medications to regulate my temperature and I got to the point where I needed something else and this was it! It's definitely worth the price point! I use it mainly for warmth but have used it for cooling at a fest in 90+ weather. My band came kinked, which pulls on my skin, that's the only reason I give it 4 stars.
