As an executive managing my hormonal transitionis challenging. The Embr Wave provides a rapid temperature regulation and eliminates distractions. I remain present and laser sharp when colleagues, team mates and family need me most. I've recommended Embr wave to at least 10 friends in 3 weeks.

I know that when I get anxious about something that triggers the hot flashes so I tap the button when I feel like that and it seems to prevent the flash from running its full course. The night setting doesn’t help prevent the sweats. I find tapping it before I go to bed and when I wake up during the night works better.
I am off from work this week so stress is less. I still have to have to monitor it further in my work setting. to see if it will work when I am teaching and a flash comes on.

Can help get you through the agony

While I don't think there is a miracle cure or miracle help for hot flashes, the Embr Wave can help get you through them a bit better. The trick is getting used to it; it takes a while to get the hang of using it. Also, it helps if you turn it on the instant you start to suspect one is coming.
Although I have only had to use it once or twice for warming me up when I was so cold I could not get warm, it was excellent for that. I wish I'd had it years ago when I spent decades working year-round in a freezing-cold office.

Helen, we're sorry you're having issues with your Embr Wave! Two quick things to check: 1) Make sure you take your Wave out of "ship mode" when you first receive it by pressing the blank button once. 2) If it isn't responding after you do that, you may need to charge the device before using it. (Be sure to line up the two gold dots on the bottom of the Wave with the two gold pins on the charger! The glowing green light tells you it's charging, and the light turns solid green when fully charged, which takes about 2 hours.) Poor planning

I got the first version of the ember wave. I am a nurse and I was so excited to use it at work. The ppe can be stifling. The ember wave was great except the placement of the button kept getting bumped Inadvertently. It would heat up and I was misserable. This product was poorly planned especially for the cost. I encourage anyone thinking of purchasing this to think twice before spending the money. There are much more satisfying ways to be comfortable.

Didn't work for me. I was so hopeful that this would help with my endless nighttime hot flashes. I tried on both wrists, all different cool settings but no relief. I'm returning for a refund
