Took a long time to get it.

I just received it. I was not aware I would have to pay additional duty which started the experience somewhat poorly. I have only had it a day. *Canada it’s even more expensive.
Based on the cost I’m not certain it was a good choice at this point. I’m going to ask to extend my 30 days from yesterday.
Initial feedback is that it’s a bit big and clunky. The band isn’t comfortable. Not sure how I’ll wear my watch and this device.
The app is good, the different settings are good.
I’ll need more time to see if it helps.

Wave 2 Quality Control issue - casing breaks due to expansion inside of unit

I have now had two Embr Wave 2 bracelets sent to me. The first one developed a crack near the charging dots, and appeared to be expanding from the inside, which caused the housing of the Wave 2 to expand, creating a small pushed out bubble near those charging points.
The same thing has now happened to my second Wave 2. I have been a huge supporter of the product, but it appears that there's a quality control issue that Embr Labs should be aware of, and should fix, instead of simply sending a replacement Wave 2 to customers.
I would encourage all who've already purchased a Wave 2 to check their products for this issue.

I have tried everything for my hot flashes and nothing works. Gave this a try and it unfortunately didn’t work for me. It’s very big and bulky to wear. Returned and was notified refund was applied but not seeing it yet which is frustrating.

I do like it and feel it helps with sleep. It's hard to wear to work as you cannot type with it on due to the size. Not completely sure it's a miracle, but it is soothing when you are have a hot flash. Does not eliminate it, but serves as a cool distraction.

I bought it to help alleviate my hot flashes. It delivers cold waves to my wrist, but the effect is slight. It has potential, but I am not sure if it is really worth it.

While my wife is still in the test stages by a couple weeks, reviews are mixed. Night is her problem so she has to wake up and activate the device. Of course it would be better if the device knew she was getting a hot flash and turned itself on. Will continue with the evaluation.

My husband actually saw a commercial for this and called me into the living room to watch it. I was skeptical to say the least, but with the 60-day money back guarantee I figured it was worth a try. It arrived very quickly, and I took it out of the box, put it on, and pressed the button for cooling. I have absolutely no idea how it works, but that first burst of cold against my wrist was incredible. That was interesting, but I was still unconvinced it would actually do much for my hot flashes and for a couple of days I was thinking I would probably end up returning it. The instructions indicated that it could take a week or so to see the results ... and sure enough, after somewhere around a week or 10 days of wearing it, I started really noticing a difference. It doesn't completely stop my hot flashes in their tracks, but it absolutely makes them shorter, less intense, and less miserable. I've also become more subconsciously in tune with my body's cues, which is important because the earlier I catch the hot flashes and start the cooling waves, the better the device is able to help control them. I've only used the overnight setting a couple of times and had limited success with that, but it was within those first few days after I received it so I probably need to give it another try to really evaluate it. The only reason I have rated it as 4 stars instead of 5 is because the battery life is a little bit shorter than I would like. Having said that, it does charge very quickly. The app is easy to use, the ability to customize your settings is helpful, and the device itself is attractive enough to not feel bad about wearing it. So yes, I was not expecting all that much from this little gadget, but now that I have given it a fair shake, you can try to pry it from my cold -- or at least much cooler -- dead hands!
