The battery does not last

The battery does not last as long as the Wave. The cooling does not seem as cool as the Wave. I would like to adjust the "wavelength" like i did with my Wave. I customized my favorite mode on my Wave and was very happy. I do like the more stylish design of the Wave 2. I do not know if it's an improved wave; i see that there is more to come with the Wave 2...so perhaps this bit of buyer's remorse will subside. I hate to say it will do...but because the wristband of my Wave broke and is held together with a rubber band because you guys wouldn't repair it for me or sell me parts to repair it myself...i guess i am lucky to have the Wave 2, because it does work well enough. Because of the short battery life, I wear my Wave at night and Wave 2 in the day and charge it every 2 to 3 nights. My Wave kept its charge for a about a week. My Wave i give 5 stars. Wave 2...just 3 and a half.

Definitely please with this super awesome product! Incredibly helpful tool to help regulate temperature when I’m on the go. Both the heating and cooling settings are new pain management essentials throughout my day. I suffer from hot flashes and frequent temperature fluctuations that cause pain throughout my body. Within minutes of using the device, my body regulates temperature-wise in a way that even ice packs and heated blankets can’t accomplish that quickly. The Embr 2 has definitely impacted my life positively. My only quibble with the device seems to be a more personal issue in relation to my own medical diagnoses. I occasionally feel a burning/searing sensation on my wrist when the temperature first starts to engage in my device. I think it’s more of a bodily shock than anything, but still worth noting.

Better at sending heat than providing cooling

I think it works better for people who get cold easily, instead of people trying to get cool. I purchased it to help me with relief from heat, and initially it feels good. But then when the timer is up, and you want to use it more, the device itself gets warm. Like a cellphone that is in the sun for a few minutes too long.
So the cold feeling on my wrists is being canceled out by the heat of the device itself. I’m giving it 3 stars because *maybe* I’ll get use to it? But to be honest I get so flushed with heat that I have a go-to fan that looks like headphones that I wear around my neck. So I use the two together to get more of an instant relief.
Also the strap fell off me and the device fell on the floor and got scratched so that was a bummer.
I don’t know if I’d recommend it. Maybe if your issue is wanting to feel warmth, then this product may be for you.

I figured it out...kinda

This works amazing. I even shared it with a male co-worker who was very hot. He told me as an EMT they were instructed to put ice on the forearms of people who were hot. This finally made sense to me and figured out a tiny reason that this little EMBR works. I'm sure there is more to it, but I tell everyone about my little helper!

This device really does ease my frequent and severe hot flashes. They don’t stop completely, but I feel relief and am glad of it.
I even tried the heat button once, and that helped on a very cold night.
My next sampling will be to curb the hot flashes that begin as I wake in the mornings.
This is an ingenious and attractive tool to mitigate these hormonal temperature swings.

The charger is off but it’s an okay device

It is an investment and you do need to have the time to sit and really discover how to use the device. The charging is off and the company is aware. My first Wave II I got broke completely and my second one they sent me has troubles charging. For the amount of money we are paying for this technology I don’t feel we should have to worry about if it is going to charge or not.
I do quite enjoy the cooling feature for my comfort during any of my hot flashes I get from my POTS/Dysautonomia
