One of the best things I've ever purchased.

This is my second wave. I had the original and it changed my life.
The new design is fantastic, it feels lighter, less intrusive and less bulky than the original. This is about the size of a watch, even on my tiny wrists. I like the new discreet mode for the lights. The new buttons on the sides are easy to use, I don't accidentally bump it on or off like the old model. The new charging is great too!

I have problems with temperature regulation (dysautonimia, and SCI) and this wonderfully tricks my body into warming and cooling. The Wave has saved me from overheating and from getting too cold more times than I can count.
My only issue is with the app, which feels like I lost a little bit of more perfected control over the temperature. I liked the degrees over the 1-5 scale. I do really like the 9 hour sleep mode.

Instant hot flash relief

The wave 2 has some nice upgrades compared to the first one. The look is more sleek, and the 2 preset buttons are nice. I still find it too bulky to wear while working at my computer, and I'm frustrated by the battery drain on the overnight setting. It also doesn't stay paired with my phone very well. My hot flashes have improved a lot, so I'm not wearing it as much anymore. But I would still highly recommend it to any one experiencing hot flashes. It's so nice to be ableto get some instant relief.

As someone who is chronically cold, this device has truly saved me! It’s easy to use, lightweight and best of all WORKS. I use it every day and am so glad I made the investment.

I like the design fits my wrist very well I have a small wrist. The control with the phone app works good. Using the buttons I'm not sure what setting I'm in. The technology is awsome dose help with hot flashes. Thanks

Upgraded from Wave 1 to Wave 2

I had the Wave 1 for cooling but was disappointed in it as the unit itself would get hot and end up making me feel warmer when it should have been the opposite. I upgraded to the Wave 2 hoping it worked better. While I do like the look of the Wave 2 much better, unfortunately, it has the same issue as the Wave 1. I can use it to cool for a couple minutes but then have to take it off as it starts to warm my wrist. Great concept but unfortunately it doesn't deliver for me.

This thing is amazing. I use it primarily for cooling. I run super warm allll of the time. I am a male, early 30’s, pretty good shape, exercise every day and I just find the bit of relief from the sensation of feeling warm is really a treat.
3 thoughts
1. More customization in the app - It would be nice to be able to control how long the ‘waves’ last for. I find the duration of the cooling sensation or the distance between waves to be limited. With the understanding that this would massively impact battery, it would still be great to have.

2: Ability to place it on the back of your neck - Similar to what Sony did with the REON Pocket, it’d be nice to have a T-shirt with a little Embr sized pocket, so you can slide the Embr into it and have it on the back of your neck. I find myself holding it against my neck, because the cooling sensation just feels much better there than on the wrist.
3. Easier way to change wristbands - again, this thing is awesome. But the process for changing a band is a bit like performing surgery. It would be neat to see a similar mechanism to the Apple Watch, and with that the option for multiple bands. The comfort band is definitely the way to go though.

After wearing my Embr 2 for two weeks now, I am starting to see a real change in my hot flashes. When I feel them come on, I touch my cool down button and while they do not disappear, they are much less intense than before. So, instead of saying, "My brain is on fire!" I instead say, "Oh, feeling a little warm." So glad to have discovered this!
