A must for hot flashes

I love the smooth look of the Ember Wave 2. It looks like a gorgeous peace of jewelry. The magnetic band is a great feature. It has really helped me with my hot flashes. It is comfortable enough for me to wear when I sleep and easy to quickly push the cooling button when I need it. I have also used the Ember Wave 2 with the app when I feel anxious. It is very soothing.

Very disappointed!! Was expecting a better experience.

I have the Wave 1 but liked the sleek design of Wave 2. After a long wait, I have to say I am disappointed with the Wave 2. It does not seem as cool and I am having a lot of problems with the connection. I can't tell how much battery it has left per session. After any session length, it disconnects from the app and I have to reconnect it. However, it will never reconnect until I put it back on the charger. I would really like to speak to tech support, but there is no number listed. The wave 1's light went out when using the all night mode. Wave 2 does not. Also, the track and learn options on the app are not yet activated. Why? There is no where I can go to get a video on how to use the Wave 2. There are only "review websites" which do not help at all. I am very frustrated. The only good point to this is that I still use the Wave 1. I believe you might have released this new model before you were fully ready. I gave it a 3 star but really believe it should have been a one star if I put into consideration all the frustrations. At the bottom of this review, I indicated that I would not recommend it to a friend. At least not until you have solved the hiccups.

Warming good, cooling not so much

The few times that I used the heating feature it worked great. But unfortunately I purchased this in hopes of alleviating the heat in my head area. I sweat a lot. I sweat even when I am washing the dishes. Cooling my wrist doesn't seem to help. If I put the Embr on my forehead or the back of my neck, it feels much better. Unfortunately there's no good way of keeping the Embr in those places while standing up and moving. Thus the three stars.

I have had hot flashes for years and this little gadget has helped me so much.
It’s amazing, when those hot flashes hit I simply turn the Embr wave 2 onto the cool setting and it cools me down almost instantly. I work with a lot of freeze babies so our office is always too warm for me, now with my Embr wave 2 I’m as comfortable as they are, a real life saver!
I never had the first Embr so I have no comparison but if it’s even close to the 2 it’s awesome also.
It’s amazing, when those hot flashes hit I simply turn the Embr wave 2 onto the cool setting and it cools me down almost instantly. I work with a lot of freeze babies so our office is always too warm for me, now with my Embr wave 2 I’m as comfortable as they are, a real life saver!

Positive early impressions!

I’ve been using the Embr Wave 2 for a few weeks now and so far I am enjoying it. It feels very solid on my wrist and it’s about the same size as my Fitbit. I typically wear it at night to help ease me to sleep. I’ve used both the warm and cool sensations and they are very pleasant. The app is easy to set up and use. I wish the app would send notifications when the battery is lower. A few times I’ve missed out on using it because it needed to be charged.

I love my Wave2 so much!! I get hot often at work (ICU nurse), plus I get hot flashes, even more of them at night. The only nights recently that I have NOT woken up drenched in sweat were the nights I forgot to set my Wave2. It is beautiful and is so pretty. I have the rose gold one. Lovely. Cool. Wave2.

Hot flash relief

My motivation for buying the Wave 2 was to help with my hot flashes and night sweats. The Wave has definitely taken the edge off my hot flashes and helped me sleep better through the night. At times I can feel an intense cooling on my wrist and other times it is not as significant.
I was concerned the Wave would be too big for my smaller wrist but the magnetic band allows me to adjust the sizing to fit.
I do wish the face of the Wave was more durable. I have a couple of small scratches on the face of the unit within two days of wearing the Wave.
