I’m undergoing Hormone treatment for cancer, and hot flashes were getting very annoying. I have had the Wave II for about three weeks now, and it is amazing. As soon as I feel a hot flash coming on I hit the button, and within two minutes or sooner it’s gone. This product really works I urge anyone having hot flashes to get one of these. I know it’s expensive, but it’s so worth it. I’m also experiencing chills, and the heat mode doesn’t seem to be as effective.

I find it does not HELP MY hot flashes at all. When i put on the cold then i am not only wet but I start to feeel very cold.
I am suppose to receive a hone call in a day or so

I have had my Embr Wave 2 for almost a month and I could not be happier! It took a week or so to get used to how it functions and to tailor the settings to my preferences, so if you get one, don't give up on it too soon! Now that it is fine-tuned to my needs, it's great! I purchased it mainly to use the cooling function for hot flashes, but it's great for warming on cold mornings also!

I was very skeptical knowing the placebo effect. It worked! It doesn't completely remove hot and cold flashes but drastically reduces the severity. The trick is to be aware of the signs of a flash coming on. The sooner I press the button the less drastic the flash is. I'm now able to get through the flash without ripping off my clothing in a panic. Thank you so much! My husband thanks you too!

The design is big and bulky…. The magnetic clasp slides loose, even fell off once. The tool seams to work somewhat but when using the sleep mode for 8 hours the device would become extremely warm to the point it just did not cool down more like shut down. I was excited for this but at my worst moments it really didn’t help.

I've had mine now for more than 3 years. I have atonic epilepsy, and getting overheated is a primary trigger for those seizures. I am also SPD (sensory processing disorder).
I've consistently been able to cool my body with the EmbrWave on the cooling setting, dramatically reducing the number of seizures triggered by heat. Aside from AE, I can be in a comfortable room, but suddenly take a chill, even my teeth chatter. This can have a staggering effect if not stopped, leading to a full-blown sensory episode (not pretty!). A quick tap to a heat up on the EmbrWave and the teeth chattering stops in less than a minute, and within just a couple minutes, I feel normal again. Stress will also heat my body, so at times I experience high levels of stress, I just tap the unit for cooling, and avoid that heatup entirely.
It's not like it heats or cools you like a good sweater on a cold day, or A/C on a hot one, it just shores up your actual experience of hot/cold to comfort.

Hot flash

I hit menopause 10 years ago and had an occasional hot flash last year I had breast cancer and the anti hormone med I will be on for 5 years has intensified the hot flashes. It is a great cooler
