The Volt 12 Is an Outstanding Oven

I have both the Volt 12 and the Karu 16 which I use with gas. I actually prefer the Volt 12. Since there is a heating element above and below the stone, I find the pizza cooks more evenly than the Karu with its top only heat source. And the ability to control the top-bottom distribution of heat and temperature is also great so that with practice the cheese and other toppings don't burn before the dough is cooked through. The only negative is that the unit is large and can only do a 12" pizza. I highly recommend the Volt 12. It performs great!

I really love it, and made my life so much fun.
The only thing I can say which may not be an issue, is when u go all the way to 850 degrees and leave your pizza for about 90 secs the bottom of pizza becomes too black for me, although the heat is all the way from top, which may be corrected by increasing the hydration. Anyways an easy solution is to just avoid that super high temp!

Amazing. Easy to use. Heated up fast! Did NOT hear the kitchen!! And cooked our (phenomenal) pizzas in only 2 minutes. Super fun, great directions. What else can I say? The only thing we are not crazy about is the size. Takes up quite a lot of counter space. We personally think the sacrifice is worth it!

So easy to use

This is my first pizza oven so was a bit apprehensive but found the process quite easy after watching a few YouTube videos. The oven is really easy to use, heats up fast and cooks pizza in about 2mins. Only downside really is how large it is, so make sure you measure your space before ordering, I’m glad I did!

Absolutely brilliant - every pizza so far has come out perfectly. I've never had a pizza oven before, and decided to go with the electric one due to being able to use it inside and out. It heats up faster than the manual claims, maintains its heat smoothly for ages, and is so easy to clear up afterwards. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I’ve been using the Ooni Koda 16 since it was released and have been making pizza outdoors for special occasions (usually about ~20 pizzas each time) mostly during spring and summer. Living in an apartment has its limitations on how much you actually use the Koda 16. Since I’ve used the Koda 16 and also used Ooni’s customer service (cracked stone during rough transport in the wilderness, my own fault) I can say that I trust the company and decided to also take the plunge for the electric oven.
I’ve made about 50 pizzas in the oven and I have to say that I prefer it to the Koda 16 for my pizza making. It gets hot enough and since it’s very well insulated it keeps the heat really well. I’m making 12” pizzas with 200 g pizza balls and they are done in 2 minutes on 425C, turning them after half the time. With the Volt 12 I’m able to prepare the next pizza right away during the cooking, which I’m not able to in the Koda 16 since I need to be more focused during the cooking. I can’t say that I’ve mastered the oven but during the time I’ve used it I have to say that I’m impressed. I’ll be able to use the Volt 12 year round and it gets hot enough to easily bake pizzas like I want them.
I’ll still be using my Koda 16 in the cabin but I think that my pizza skills will improve with Volt 12 since it’s so easy to use indoors.
