Buy this thing !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally pulled the trigger and got me the Ooni Volt 12. This thing is great! Now I don’t have to wait for the weather to be nice out to make a Neapolitan pizza in my Ooni Koda 16. I’ve been making pies more frequently than before. It’s pretty big , but it’s so easy to use, easy to clean and heats up so quickly. My first pie was a disaster (my fault), but each pie after has been better. Also, if you don’t know how to make a pizza yet, don’t put a negative review on this oven!
Definitely a great buy!

Just a note that the pizza dough recipe on page 24 has a major typo! It specifies 12 cups of water when it should be 1 and 1/2. Oops!!!

Made the first pizza an Authentic Italian Margherita. The first pizza came out perfect. We cranked it up to 800 degrees and turned off the bottom heat once we loaded the pizza into the oven. 2 minutes later it came out and it was perfect. Crispy on the bottom, cooked perfect on top.
Mind Blown!
We are an authentic VPN pizzeria. We are Turing these on for our Pizza School Classes.

Awesome Pizza!!

I don't like the controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like the controls at all, it completely ruins the experience of using it because nothing is clear. The dials are a complete nightmare, this needs a simple digital display.
I regret purchasing it.
Test this with someone autistic. I'll bet they'll have a meltdown by the time they use it six times. HATE IT.

I’ve been having a blast making delicious Neapolitan style pizzas. It’s always been my favorite style but can’t replicate. I’m able to make delicious ones at home. Ngl, kind of obsessed :)

i’ve had ooni ovens for well over 3 years now. the ooni volt is a shame. my oven stone only reaches 750°F after an hour of preheating and once I launch a pizza in, the top does not cook—but the bottom chars quickly. also very unfortunate that I bought this at full price and it goes on sale for practically 40% off the next week.
