It's been really easy to use for a complete beginner and the taste feels professional with little knowledge. Would recommend the ooni book for dough/sauce tips to help. Look forward to learning more as the more and more I use it

Volt review and comparison with Karu.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reheats quickly as opposed to wood fired Ooni which we’ve had since it came out. Still love the Karu, but at age 65 it’s freezing to keep it stoked and on temp during the colder weather. Will happily go back to Karu in warmer weather, and we’re very happy with the Volt which we have only used inside so far. We only make Neapolitan so can’t advise on other pizza types. Don’t think we’ll cook any meat in it, which we do in the Karu.

My husband gave this to me for Christmas and I LOVE it . I was making pizzas right out of the box and haven't stopped yet lol

A wonderful oven, making great pizza, rain, snow, or shine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Karu 12, but a big issue I had is that I don't have a good place to use it unless the weather is good. Making it difficult for me to plan on when I could use it, especially as I like my dough to proof for more than a day. That doesn't work well when the weather here (especially wind) is frequently described as if you don't like it, wait 5 minutes.
Enter the Volt. Since getting it, I've been able to make pizza whenever I want, without the worry of whether or not the weather will mess things up. Plus, now I can use it on my birthday, in the middle of winter.
On top of that, because I can make it more often, I'm able to improve my gluten-free dough shaping skills for my wife.
The only downside for me is the size, not enough to knock it down a star for the review though. For our kitchen it's too big to keep on the counter; we just don't have enough space to leave it out all the time, so I'll eventually be moving it into the garage for storage.
I'm already looking forward to the next time I "fire" it up.
