Don't work in refrigerator ANYMORE

I have bought 4 BRAND NEW filters since my last one went out and NONE OF THEM HAVE WORKED! Is this your way of making people so angry that WE NEVER buy KitchenAid Appliances again?!!!!

Multiple defective filters

The fist two filters seem to work fine. I’m sure they’re the ones that came with the refrigerator. These replacements have been nothing but a wast of money. One kept popping out and wouldn’t stay in the filter holder. Others have only lasted a few weeks with the water not dispensing water until the filter is changed. Either they are defective or Kitchenaide has created a product that needs to be repurchased constantly at shorter intervals.

No water dispensing

Installed the new filter but now no water will be dispensed. Reading these other reviews and thinking we received a defective filet.

ridiculous!

the water filters only last 3-4 months. Why are they so expensive and why do they need to be replaced so often? I noticed other people have the same problem, and when I do install a new one, the fridge will spit it out often. My current filter was purchased in September and now it's barely dispensing water. I am disappointed because we are very loyal KitchenAid customers, our 3 year old house has all KitchenAid appliances along with whirlpool washer and dryer.

Brand new refrigerator filter does not stay in.

I’ve had the refrigerator less than a month and this filter won’t stay in. Seems cheap. I bought a brand new kitchen aid refrigerator, but also a lot of other KitchenAid appliances, I hope the others don’t end up like this. Either want some new filters or a new refrigerator. Don’t have time for this.

Awful product - KitchenAid should be ashamed

These filters are expensive, they also don’t last and impact your ability to get water out of your refrigerator. They don’t last more than a few weeks. Honestly, if you think it is anything other than KitchenAid designing a product for the sole reason of milking you for every penny they can, you are naive. Crap product, crap company, crap appliances. Don’t buy them…

Poorly designed

I wish I would have seen these filter reviews before buying my Kitchenaid. My filter also won’t fit in the slot « made » for it. Lid won’t close so the water filters. I have to duck tape it down to dispense filter water.

Send me a BYPASS PLUG

I just want a BYPASS or filter housing plug! My water filter housing leaks when a filter is not present. I have RO water feeding the fridge. I have added a permeate pump to no avail. Kitchenaid's does not offer a plug for late models? Why?
