Solid and Modern but Grate Could Be Easier to Manage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove seems to be solid, modern and easy to use. We’ve only had it for two weeks. The one thing that frustrates me is that the top grates for the stove top have to be completely removed to clean underneath. I had a whirlpool and I could just lift the grates up. They were on a hinge. I could lean them against the wall gently or just hold them while I swipe something on the stove top. That was very convenient. These grates are pretty heavy, so I have to remove them and place them gently on the counter to do anything on the stove for cleaning—big or small. The oven does cook well and evenly.

Good not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this range for one month. I have not tried all the features yet but I have had a couple of issues. The first issue is that the burners come out of place very easily when cleaning the stove top, even with a simple wipe. Secondly, I've had a couple of situations where I've followed cooking instructions on frozen items and the cooking time took twice as long as stated on the cooking directions. I used an oven thermometer to see if the temperature was the same inside the oven as the set temperature and found that there was a discrepancy of 25 degrees. (oven set at 375 but thermometer inside the oven showed 350). The owners manual says not to use an oven thermometer - don't know why that is. I checked the calibration and it is pre-set to 0 so there doesn't seem to be an obvious issue. The burners are louder than normal, you can hear the hissing when in use. Last item is that there are two little knobs on either side of the front panel. Every time I open my cabinet door it hits the knob. There is a guaranteed to fit rebate but I kept getting an error message to try later so I could not submit it and gave up after a few attempts.
On the plus side....it is a nice looking range, the parts do not appear flimsy and the price was decent.

FRIGIDAIRE GAS RANGE

Awesome stove!
