So far the watch has held up to all I have put it through. If Amazfit has partnered with Spartan then someone must be comfortable with the product. It has been as accurate as watches costing 2-3 times the cost. My only complaint is I wish the workout function could be locked during workouts and unlocked at the finish. Doing physical, body weight type exercises the round knob seems to get pushed and the workout will pause. There may be a way to lock it and I haven’t found it yet. This is why I’m giving a 4 instead of 5. So far, so good though!

Amazing !!! Every day I discover something new on my Amazfit GTR 4 that helps me improve my daily life. It is a significant improvement in tracking my workouts, in monitoring my health, in staying in touch without taking my phone, in preparing my daily schedule and the versatility that it gives me to use it on any occasion thanks to its elegant design and the duration of 2 weeks of its battery. I almost didn't take it off. It is The Best !!!

Great looks with mediocre performance

Great looking watch that is pretty feature rich. It's slim and stylish enough to go with anything from trail running clothes to office atrire. It has lots of activities to choose from and a long battery life. Getting Oxygen saturation at this price point is pretty amazing too.
Gripes: The GPS tracks so far off that Strava won't even recognize you've run certain segments in wooded areas. The wrist top HR is wildly inaccurate once you start sweating. The metal on this watch gives me a nice skin burn on my wrist if I wear it for more than 24 hours straight. Amazfit was nice enough to send a new band to see if that worked, but it didn't.
To me this is more of lifestyle/athleisure watch. I definitely wish I would have bought the T Rex again after I lost mine surfing.

This is great looking watch that is feature rich with a long battery life. It's sleek looking and can go well with office attire or gym clothes .
However, some of the features miss the mark. The GPS is so far off on mine that Strava won't even recognize I've completed segments on routes I've run; the GTR's GPS shows my path off trail. It also constantly sends me notifications that the GPS needs to be connected to the app and updated (the frequency of needed updates is 5x that of Garmin or Coros or more). The HR monitor also becomes wildly inaccurate as soon as a sweat. And lastly, I get a nice little chemical burn from the metal on this watch if I wear it more than 24 hours. Amazfit was nice enough to send a new strap to see if that was the issues, but it wasn't.
It's a great looking watch and would likely function well for the the athleisure demographic, but in my opinion it is not a watch for folks who partake in endurance sports or extreme sports.

I have really enjoyed tracking my sleep and exercise. I’m an avid tennis player (4 days a week) and the watch has exceeded my expectations with all of the data available from my workouts.

Notification issues

Nice watch and great looking but the notifications don't mirror the phone, I've had Amazfit starting with the GTR 2 and never had and issue, I now have the GTR 4 and GTR 4 limited edition and both have these issues. If I delete the notification from the watch it still stays on my phone so I still need to go and delete from the phone, I've had many other watches form other brands and this is the first time I'm having this issue. I hope they have a fix soon, I rarely wear them now and probably won't get another one until I'm convinced it's been corrected. I've contacted support numerous times with log files as requested by an email from support but nothing since.

Overall, I really like the watch and would buy it again. Battery life is great. I'm not sure the sleep data is very accurate. I can get up and be walking around and sometimes it's still in sleep mode. The bluetooth setup was a bit confusing though it stays connected to my Pixel phone and I like getting the text and call notifications, as well as having the ability to answer or make a call. Being able to answer a text with a canned response is very helpful.
Heart rate monitor seems accurate compared to a BP/pulse arm cuff, as does oxygen data. I've only used the biking and walking programs but the information seems accurate. I used it in a pool without any problems. The display and overall appearance of the watch are really nice. Can't beat it for the price.
