I use an iPhone 13 with this watch and it works beautifully. All my notifications and text messages show up, and it has excellent sleep tracking, step counter, heart rate monitor, and blood oxygen content measurements. Best of all - it lasts all week on a single charge wearing it 100% of the time - even with the always on display and continuous health monitoring turned on. Plus there are (limited) downloadable apps if what you need isn't built in - I can even control my Tesla from the Amazla app. Amazfit watches (I have 2 different styles) are a bang for the buck. Well-built, attractive, and full of features. I would (and already have) recommend this GTR4 or the Amazfit Balance to anyone. If anything, I'd recommend a rebrand to Zepp (the phone app name and the watch's OS) would be a good idea, as I think Amazfit brand sounds cheap, but this watch is so much more than the cheapo watches out there (I have 9 smart watches overall). Buy this watch and you won't regret it!
I really love my new Amazfit GTR 4 watch. I think it’s the best smartwatch on the market today for the value at a very affordable price. It has all the features that I ever wanted in a Smartwatch and it was very easy to pair it with the ZEPP app.
I have had a couple of Samsung watches and an Apple watch, Got tired of charging everyday, Apple, every day, Samsung. every other day. Decided to look for a watch with great battery life. After much research, got the Amazfit. I'm very pleased with its features, look and great battery life. I sometimes forget to charge it because it lasts up to 2 weeks with light use.
First off, I want to say that I have had several smart watches in the past, mostly Samsung. And I love the functionality of those watches, but after purchasing this Amazfit GTR 4, I am never going back to Samsung again. The Amazfit watch has almost all of the features I used with my old Samsung watch, as well as many more, but is far more configurable. In addition to this, the battery life completely blows away the competition. For a real life example, I have been using my GTR 4 watch for the last 11 days and it's only now down to 23%. With all other smart watches, the battery would only last for 1-2 days at the most. This watch is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new watch.
I recently got this watch to replace the same model I've had for a year. I was surprised that the user interface was slower to respond than my ols model and the strap was flimsier than my old one and it was more money. I love how the GTR 4 looks and works but I'm afraid this new one won't live up to the old version.
I have a Samsung and Apple watch, they both offer great features and somewhat more accurate readings for health and workout, but one BIG drawback is their battery life. I have to constantly remember to charge either watch or they're dead. I love the Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 watches. They have about average accuracy which is good enough for my use, but most importantly they have beautiful screens and long battery life. I even use the always on display from 8 AM to 10PM and only have to charge them about every 5 to 6 days. If I turn off the always on display then it will last at least 10 days with average use. I like the Amazfit watches mainly for the long lasting battery and would highly recommend them over all other smart watches for the average person who doesn't need very precise health readings. Let's face it, for most people it's not that important if they burnt 300 kcal or 280 kcal or if their blood oxygen is 99 or 89. Most want a nice watch that is comfortable to wear and can be used for music and phone calls with long battery life. The one thing I miss is having a on-display keyboard to type message like I can with the Samsung. I hope that will be added to Amazfit in the furture.
