Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this printer so far. It was very easy to set up and get working on my home network. It prints fast and prints good quality images. The Printer is larger and does take up more space than other printers I have had in the past. But I find that this seems to be better made and just a higher quality printer and feel this will be a printer that will last for years. It holds a large amount of paper so I don't need to be filling the paper all the time.

Fast, Easy and Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home printer died and I was tired of slow printing and having the paper jam up in top feed printers. So while this seemed like it might be a little too much for a home printer I went ahead and got it. And I am so glad I did.
The setup instructions online were nice, but ultimately just slowed me down. In the end I just went to the google play store and downloaded the Canon Print Service app, which is really just an add-in, you don't print from it, it just makes the printer available from your phone. And then I followed the setup guide on the printer's touch screen. Once I ignored all the paperwork it only took 5 minutes to install the App, connect the printer to my wifi, and print out my first pages. I can now print from any App in my phone. It takes about 5 seconds for the printer to receive my file, about 5 seconds to warm up, and then it just flies. The pages just came out one right after another with only an inch of space separating them. Maybe 2 seconds per page? And there is no clunky sound of the printer head moving back and forth. This is smooth and quite and fast.
The parts are all easy to access from the front and back. The toner trays slide out and are easy to replace. So far no paper jams. The paper tray brackets are so easy to adjust, you just hold the little blue tabs and then slide them around exactly where you want them. The touch screen doesn't require very much pressure and is very quick.
I'm trying to think of a negative. I'd say maybe the front panel that opens to hold your larger paper formats for printing doesn't hold tight to the body of the printer. But it just snaps up and down so it's meant to open easy. It's really fine, it's not going to open on its own unless you pull on it. But if you were moving the machine around the home or office you might want to put a piece of tape over it while you move.
This is a great printer, I'm so glad I upgraded.

Very happy to add this in my home office for when we need charts or diagram or letter heads printed. Was tired of cheap unreliable printers and this so far has been great. Great Network Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great workhorse printer that will be solid for the teams workday. It offers a very fast wake up time from when it is sleeping. It is longer when its completely starting up but i would expect this from any device.
It offers a quick 35 pages per minute while storing 250 sheets of paper and an additional 50 sheet multipurpose tray. The 2 sided duplex printing is a great feature to help reduce paper usage in the office. I did some testing to see if the pages per minute were accurate and it does seem like it is. The color and black/white printing are exactly what you would expect without any smearing or other printing issues.
The Wireless connection is a must have feature that allows Wi/Fi Direct Connection, Canon Print Business and Airprint. With the smartphone always being used this is an incredibly useful and easy feature for the print. It was just as fast to print from a users cell phone as it was thru a wireless laptop.
The 5” Touchpanel display gives you very easy access to the settings in the printer. Instead of having to go thru a remote user interface you are able to access settings directly at the printer. It helps those power users that need to make changes on the fly. But, you also have the option to lock settings with id/pin.
It comes with a 3 year warranty which will be helpful if issues arrive but typically in my experience Canon products are very reliable.

Love the double sided printing. We sat it up in just minutes, easy to use. I am so amazed at all the features it has. Wireless printing is so easy and convenient. I highly recommend this printer it has so much to offer and is very well designed!

I was able to print out tax information for our concrete business very quickly. This printer does so much! I can’t wait to try it all out. It’s a very high quality printer.
