This lid more than doubles battery life by keeping the heat in, and my coffee keeps its fresh taste much longer since the mug doesn't have to keep reheating it. It also just lets you take the mug on the go, making it comparable/better than the travel thermos. Awesome little product, recommending it to everyone that has an Ember mug!

So glad I found these lids for my mugs! Without them, my coffee would develop a film on the top that is unappealing and I'd have to skim it off before drinking. The lids keep that from happening, plus I've discovered that the battery charge lasts longer because the mug doesn't have to work as hard to keep my coffee at the right temperature. The lid is easy to keep clean with how easy it is to remove the slide. And I LOVE that you get the extra different colored slides to swap out! Only setbacks are that the slides are too loose, and I have to make sure the inside of the mug where the lid gasket goes and the gasket itself has to be dry before putting it on or else the lid will slide up and out of the mug. A slightly bigger gasket would resolve this issue, but the purchase is still well worth the benefits!

The lid is a great asset to my mug, and I’m really happy to have it. It helps keep my coffee warmer longer by saving on the battery, and it also makes the cup easier to clean. The only thing that I have to complain about Is that the lid doesn’t quite seal as well after about 30 minutes. It seems to ride up a little bit and I have to push it back down before I take a sip but other than that it’s fantastic.

Finally! With this one little addition, my coffee stays at my desired temp and my battery lasts WAY longer. Really wish they had this a long time ago. And it should just be part of the mug purchase.

Nice lid. As a rule, I’m not wild about lids because they’re usually sharp on the edge where you have your lips. This one is not it’s nice and round and comfortable and it keeps the coffee hotter longer. Nice touch adding different colored tabs price is a little high though.
