I bought this lid thinking that I would use it all the time. But drinking from the mug with the lid isn’t that practical. The lid on the travel mug is much more useful because it is open all around. Now I only use this lid when I will not be using the charge pad. The lid definitely helps extend battery life.

Cracked on second use, disappointed

Just got this lid. I like that it should keep my mugs contents more secure, and the right temp for longer. But on the second use, a crack appeared where the air hole is located. It grew as I finished my tea. I am so disappointed, because I liked it on my first cup of tea. Hopefully, I just got a bad lid, and can get it replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extends battery life, but not always perfect

The lid dramatically extends battery life. For that, I love it. The only problem I have is that sometimes an air bubble forms over the opening and I risk hot coffee spilling into my mouth. I think the little hole in the top should be bigger?

This lid lets me bring my hot beverage in my ember mug anywhere without having to transfer it into a travel tumbler. And I’m delighted to find out my 10oz mug fits in my car’s cup holder. With this lid on I can savor those last warm sips on the go.

Fits great and includes 3 different color slider things that are easy to take off and have strong construction, unlike other slider type tops where the tabs are hard plastic and break easy. Good purchase to turn the standard cup into nice travel mug good for commutes. Be sure to buy the correct size.
