Please change your product description and remove any mention that this products design intent was to be portable. Design a product with a rechargeable battery or one that runs on traditional over the counter batteries before you make claims like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My issue is not with the functionality of this device. I have a white version of this product at home and use it almost daily with no complaints in its ability to function. Its a great counter top product. My issue is with the deception of this products description as a portable device.
Calling this "Portable" is a stretch of the definition. This product is compact however, that is the only box that can be checked in it's claim to be portable. One would logically assume with a write up stating,

"Imagine having a travel bottle warmer that fits right into your diaper bag, ready to spring into action when hunger strikes. Your baby's mealtime is just moments away from being served at the perfect temperature."
That this device would run on batteries. That assumption would be incorrect. Ready to spring into action as long as you are near a usable power outlet is a more accurate statement.
Again they state "This on-the-go bottle warmer is designed with busy parents in mind. It's always easy to use, giving you the freedom to feed your little one wherever your travels take you. "
I truly hope the intent of this write up was not to be deceptive and was a simple oversite. Although, leaving out any mention of how this product needs a power source to function. Furthermore, removing any visual indicators that the device is plugged in while demonstrating it in a video are contrary to that hope.
As stated before I have one of these devices already at home and was looking for a portable one of the same quality. Having read this review I am deeply saddened and was not expecting this from a company that does put out a quality product.

Worked well for 3 weeks

After about 3 weeks the product only heats a bottle to the correct temperature after repeated cycles. Even with descaling regularly the bottle warmer barely works.
