We've been using the machine for a week and I honestly have seen a BIG improvement in my indoor allergies...dust and pollen are my #1 irritants and I am seeing a big difference in my health since we added the Alen 45i to our bedroom...I hope the trend continues....so far....very good !!!!

It does everything you'd want. It tells you what the current state of the air in the room is, and that looks pretty accurate. It then ramps up and down based on need. It's quiet even when operating at higher fan speeds to deal with lower air quality. You can turn the lights off at night.
And it cleans the air, quickly taking you from low quality air, to cleaner air in a relatively short time.
It looks good. And for something that you're going to leave out in your romm that's an important thing. The design is minimally intrusive, but the engineering makes it so that air flow is still efficient. In my view, the Dyson looks a bit silly in comparison.
Very happy, and glad that it's backed by the trial period, and the life-warrantee when joining the filter subscription (which makes my life easier).
have not as yet had reason to use it as we purchased it in advance of the Forest Fire smoke we've experienced the last three Summers. We've still had snow as recently as three days ago so pollen is not really an issue as yet.
Was disappointed to realize that their was no owners manual; apparently there should have been one as the vinyl cover over the controls advised consulting one!
Just like the breathsmart classic which I've had a long time , it works very well. My house is a little over 2000 sq feet and with 2 fairly large dogs the classic couldn't keep the dog smell out , but now with the breathsmart 45 I the dog smell is pretty much gone. IMO it is probably the best air purifier out there
