It is a very quiet machine and appears to be doing everything it is said to do.
Very easy to set up, The granite front is nicely done. Colors change to show it is working.
So far we really like the air purifier.

Why a second Breathesmart hepa

Why a second Breathesmart hepa filter?The first one definitely made a difference both in the spring allergy season and when running the wood stove on the cold days. We have fewer related headaches and less dust. Rather than carting the big hepa filter to the bedroom a night, we got a second smaller one.

Well worth the investment

This is well worth the investment. I can tell how much better my air is now. Literally I can breath easier. It’s setup is easy and the display clearly lets you know the air quality. Noise level is the lowest I have ever heard from a air purifier and soothing actually. My favorite feature is the ability to darken the display. Thank you Alen!

Very easy to assemble, quiet, excellent performance, love the air quality sensor as a feature. I don't have it in my bedroom so I can't really speak to breathing/sleep.

Don’t recommend

It was a hassle connecting the unit to the app. It took seven tries before it would let me create an account. The unit also doesn’t have a constant steady flow of air. Instead the flow is turbulent and makes a whopping sound. I checked the filter and it’s installed correctly. Also the data it gets for outside air quality isn’t accurate. During terrible wildfire smoke it said the air outside was fine but inside was terrible. It said that consistently despite sealing the room off with the air purifier. Didn’t make sense. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Alen BreatheSmart 45i

This is the third Alen BreatheSmart 45i that I have purchased. Living with asthma prompted a purchase of my first air purifier. After a great deal of research, I decided on the Alen 45i for my bedroom. I was very pleased and purchased a second one for my painting studio. And, again, this most recent purifier was specifically for the first floor of a new home. I appreciate the various controls and settings for sleeping, or for times when air quality warrants a higher setting. The color indicator is one of my favorite features. The varied colors tells us when air quality is less than optimal, and the auto setting makes necessary adjustments. I love these air purifiers and have recommended them to many friends and family members.
