I bought the Alen BreatheSmart 45i and the biggest impact this has had is that I no longer wake up with itchy eyes. It's quiet and the ability to turn off any lights on the machine means the room stays dark. I keep it on auto and sometimes when it gets signaled to increase it's purifying power, I'm at a loss as to why. But other times it's pretty consistent- When the dogs shake themselves near it, the speed picks up and more so when they're dirty than when they're clean. I have it along a wall in the bedroom outside along the wall where the bathroom is. When I dry my hair, the purifier really goes into overdrive. I guess hair dryers have unpure air???
When we cook smelly foods, we bring it into the kitchen and it helps clear away the smells a lot faster than just letting them dissipate on their own. I don't have any other air purifier to compare this to but I can say I'm very happy with the performance of this one having lived with it for a few months now.

Fire Season

We live in a seasonal wildfire location and bought the 45i last year to combat the smoke. My wife has RA and I have migraines. Wildfire smoke is typically present for months in the summer. This purifier has made a HUGE difference in how we feel and function day to day.

The 45i unit is working as advertised. Did sign up for the auto filter replacements. There were some scratches on the front cover which I sent pictures of to Customer Service. John immediately had a free replacement sent to me. Pleasure to do business with such a highly responsive team.
