It’s been a great investment in clean air for my family.

Bought two of these for different rooms and I have to say there is a noticeable difference in the quality of air. I’ve gotten so sensitive to clean air now that when I breathe I can know when the air is not as clean then look over to see the yellow light. The difference in air quality is displayed by different colors. I love this function. It’s been a great investment in clean air for my family.

Improved allergy symptoms

I did a lot of research before choosing this air purifier. I have noticed a big difference in my asthma and sneezing since using the Alen 45i in my bedroom. Very little sneezing, which used to happen every morning. Much less shortness of breathe as well. I’m glad I finally decided to order it. It also looks attractive and is easy to move around. I like that it has the ability to turn off the control lights and keep running. This means no lights in my bedroom at night.

This is my first purifier

This is my first purifier which I chose not just because of consumer reports highest rating but that the reviews spoke about how quiet it is. All true!! I enjoy knowing that I am protected more than ever from the micro particles of a dry, desert climate and the new Addison of 2 cats. So much so…. I bought 3 Alen purifiers within a week!!

Noticeable improvements with my Alen BreatheSmart 45i

Love that the wood paneled front matches my other finishings and makes this unit look very sleek in my home. Also love the light indicators, which conveniently and accurately show how much & just how badly the air quality changes. The light range goes: purple (worst) - red - orange - green - blue (best). I use my purifier nonstop in a 590sq. ft. studio condo that is on a shared HVAC vent system in a very large (300+ unit) building; I often find a lot of dust and debris from other units get blown into mine as a result. So it took some time for the purifier light to turn from purple to green, and still has yet to hit blue, but I blame the building ventilation system and construction in my adjacent neighbor's unit, and not my Alen purifier. Here's another reason why. Before using this, my cat was starting to get bad coughing attacks that seemed to get worse in the weeks after we moved in. I was also waking up unusually congested every morning and sometimes noticing this midday as well. Since using this, even at times when the light indicator is orange (just 'average' quality), my cat is no longer coughing, and I can actually breathe when I wake up. I'm looking forward to finding out how our breathing will improve further once this purifier hits blue. I should also note that, in such a small, open layout space, the purifier did seem pretty loud at purple and even red, but is mere white noise at orange, and I barely notice it at green. Can't wait to (not) hear this at all once it hits blue. Based on how much crud it has captured on the prefilter in the first month alone, this purifier is clearly doing its job. All in all, my household has experienced obvious improvements in air quality since getting this purifier and have no regrets about going with this model for our space!
