Six months ago I purchased a Breathesmart 45i True HEPA Air Purifier for the bedroom after a live chat with a representative from Alen. She answered all of my questions and was very helpful. I was so pleased with the performance and quietness I just purchased another for the livingroom.

This air purifier works much better than others I have purchased. It’s quite, cleans the air and looks good with our decor. While it’s more expensive than the cheaper ones, it works so it was money well spent.

I purchased this equipment to remove pet hair, odors and dander from the air and prevent them from collecting on furniture and other surfaces in an office space (16’ x 11’) I share with my German Shepherd dog. Although I can see the color LEDs changing from time to time and it seems to be taking a bit longer for the dander to collect (plus the filter is actually getting dirty), the issue still persists. The rate of dander deposit on surfaces is greater than the rate of its removal from the air by the 45i. As an aid in improving the air quality and reducing the required surface cleaning, the machine is helpful; but if you set your expectations too high thinking the problem will be completely eliminated or controlled, you will be disappointed. Otherwise after almost one month of continuous operation, it is a very quiet unit and so far it has not given me any problems.

I live in Northern California where wildfires have become a horrible reality every summer. The air is unbreathable and you cannot open your windows. High summer temperatures and no air-conditioning makes for a miserable situation. This year I bought four Alen air purifiers. Two for small bedrooms and two 45i for an open floor plan including living room, dining room, and kitchen. While we have not had any wildfire smoke yet, I am incredibly impressed with the performance of these machines. They respond to increases in kitchen smoke (undetectable to me) and to allergens when the windows are open. I’m hoping to see improvements in my asthma and my husbands pollen allergies over time. The 45i are quiet and attractive. I like the soothing pink noise, but it did take some getting used to. The units are very well-made and engineered. Everything down to the box and plug are works of art. I’m very happy with my purchases.

Stylish, Quiet even on high, They Air Quality level is a great extra feature just to show you what's going on in your room. and last is the Life Time Warranty.... hope not to use it but when you run something 24/7 it's a comfort thing to know
