Beautiful and Effective!

Love my new Alen air purifier! Not only is it sleek and elegant, but I haven’t seen a cat hair dust bunny since I set it up (which, by the way, took 2 minutes - super simple). As an added bonus - It produces a lovely background hum (I use fan setting 3) so I’ve been able to ditch my sleep sound machine.

Well, as a long-haired pet owner, I was dubious, but after about 2 weeks the blue light appeared for air quality. Overall, pleased with product. It works quietly even in our TV area - no need to turn up TV volume. Highly recommend.

This is the 4th Alen Filter we have purchased. I love the “smart” feature - being able to monitor & control the filter operation on my smartphone from anywhere. Very quiet & effective!

Good unit but be aware of operation quirks

Good unit for bedroom.
Documentation can be improved, specifically for use of light and power buttons for speed mode.
Be aware that noise level increases with thicker filters. Pure filter is quietest.

I live in the very dusty environment of the Arizona desert. My new Alen Air BreatheSmart 45i (set on Auto) has been able to dramatically reduce the indoor dust, while improving the air quality and sleep time within my home. The decision to purchase this air purifier has proven to be a sound one. After buying numerous purifiers in the past and being disappointed, I took immense delight in the purchase of the Alen brand. After one night’s performance in my bedroom, I awakened with a marvelous sense of wellness. My breathing was clear and with ease; the air quality within the room was superb. Moreover, the unit was relatively quiet, causing no disruption to my sleep. After a couple more days of usage I was so happy with my purchase that I ordered a second, larger unit for placement in my living room! Fun side note with regard to aesthetics: the handsome, minimalist design was also a winner in my eyes, blending seamlessly with the decor and not standing out like some invasive, putrid swamp-thing from God knows where! The Alen air purifiers are a marvelous standout in this segment. I strongly encourage everyone to consider patronizing this business—you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much, Alen! I’m a fan for life.
