Great Unit - clean air - Ahhhhh !

Auto mode is great for increasing filtration when needed and reducing when air monitors clean air ! Using WiFi App is great for controlling and monitoring this and other units - App does not currently allow control of panel lights and that would be a great improvement .

A Healthy Addition

My Alen 45i arrived carefully packaged, and it appears well made (a solid, sleek unit). It was easy to set up and is quiet. My sinuses have felt better since getting this. I like that the light indicator changes according to conditions, but I don’t know why it's sometimes green or even blue (best quality air ) when we leave LR (with open area toward kitchen) to go to bed upstairs, and in the morning it’s often purple (worst quality), then it fluctuates throughout day, often toward better quality air (unless I burn something on the stove!). It takes 4-5 weeks to adjust to a space, so we’ll see how things go. Given that we don’t have central air so don’t have an air filter on the furnace, this is doing the work of purifying and feels like a healthy addition.

Clean air

This is the second Alen that I have . I’ve had the classic filter for over 10 years . Great warranty. I just bought the 45i . The tech just keeps getting better. Love the app . The 45i is very quiet on the 2 lowest speeds. Same as the classic but quiter. Same lifetime warranty. You absolutely can not go wrong. The 2 air purifiers are keeping our house fresh and healthy. My sinuses have improved since adding the 45i in my family room. I highly recommend, great product.

This product is a life changer

I purchased my first Alen BreatheSmart 45i for the bedroom of my apartment with the goal of decreasing the odor from a neighbor's cigarette and marijuana smoke. The purifier helped to decrease cigarette odor, but I didn't expect the massive increase in the quality of my sleep. I used to wake up with nasal congestion every morning (especially if sleeping with the window open). Since purchasing the Alen unit 4 years ago, I wake up with no congestion and feel more rested. I have since moved to a small single family home and have multiple Alen units. I would not live without them and I can feel the difference in my sleep and allergies when I travel and do not have the purifier.

Best decision you will make!

Appearance: thin profile, yet a good sized machine. Got the stainless steel color and it looks great. Using in bedroom. Setup is simple. I use the auto setting during the day because it really ramps up and the noise doesn't bother us. At bedtime I switch down to a lower setting. This machine is so quiet on the lower settings it actually helps me sleep. We have 2 cats and a dog, and my allergy problems have subsided. The air quality is so much better. Best decision I have made in a long time. Highly recommend.
