An outstanding product

The Alen air purifier is as good as described by the Consumer Reports. With a thick layer of more than one kind of filters for particulates, it really clean up the air in the room and allow easier breathing. With a built-in air quality monitor, it's easy to stay vigilant over the air I breathe in. The unit is also slick looking with my choice of a white cover. When operating at the lower two of the four speeds, I could hardly hear any noise. The control panel shows thoughtful consideration of all aspects that went into the design.
In short, I am very happy with my purchase. I plan to buy a couple more for my other rooms.

Grinding noise on speed 1

We've tried two of these 45i's in the bedroom and both had a grinding noise on speed 1. On speed 2 the noise goes away, but it's too noisy to sleep at that level. I've called in a few times with questions and found the call takers to be short and act as if I'm bothering them. For the price I paid I'd expect much more. We are ending this back because it's pretty much useless when you have to leave it off to sleep at night.

I placed the 45i in

I placed the 45i in my living room, and after a few days, letting it run 24/7 I found my allergies lessened inside. This was a great relief. I had a Honeywell previously in living room and when I removed it, the color band on my 45i displayed red which meant allergens and particles very high. It took about two hours to bring it to blue. What relief. I now have the Alen Flex in my bedroom and I am getting a better sleep.

This is my second purchase

This is my second purchase for this model. Recently moved to a new home and had the first one in the bedroom. After cleaning my windows I noticed the inside of the windows in that room were so much cleaner! So now I have one in the living room too!

Well worth the money. Takes

Well worth the money. Takes out the smell from cooking and does great work for dust and all allergens. Made an absolute huge difference in the the air quality. I was shocked to see how bad the air was inside. I clean very often and still found myself sneezing and coughing far too often. I let this run and left the house for a few hours and instantly felt the difference. Definitely worth investing in especially if you have a newborn as they are sensitive to their environment.

Absolutely Best on the Market

Initially, we started with only one, but because it did such an excellent job, we now own three, and there is a possibility of acquiring more in the future. The product is of exceptional quality and operates autonomously, making it a "set it and forget it" device. We adore it..

I have dust mite allergies

I have dust mite allergies and was having a constant post nasal drip causing a cough . Since super cleaning my house of dust and buying the filter , a lot of that has disappeared.
