My allergies are much better. I can see a huge difference by just looking in the air when the sun shines through the window. I will probably purchase another air purifier for the bedroom.

Got us through the worst wildfire season in history.

I live in Fort Collins, CO and this summer we lived through the 2 largest wildfires in Colorado history including the Cameron Peak Fire which burned west of town for 4 months. With winds usually out the west, we experienced apocalyptic days where the smoke would literally block out the sun, and ash fell from the sky like snow. We registered the worst Air Quality Index in the entire world on multiple occasions and there were days when you couldn't see across the street. I purchased this Alen purifier during the worst days of it and the difference it made for our quality of life cannot be adequately explained in a product review. I would just like to thank the Alen team for taking a product so seriously and making something that performs so well beyond its intended capacity with no fuss, no issues, and no bull. It created a haven of normality in our home while the world literally burned around us.

After my 100% satisfaction with my first purchase of a 75i, I purchased 4 more as Christmas presents for family members. That's about as good an endorsement as one can give. Only had the 45i for a week now and to soon t render a honest review. Need more time and honestly how would one be able to tell a difference in air quality? I have to except your specs and the purifier does what Alen says it does which is everything we want it to do in this COVID time we live in.

Wife and I suffer from

Wife and I suffer from allergies associated with pecan and cedar trees (pollen and leaf dust) and from many other sources in the Texas Hill Country. It just seems there is always something during the year that is causing allergy problems here. What use to be seasonal attacks has now expanded to be a year round problem. Three weeks ago we took the plunge and purchased two 45i units with the basic "allergy type" filters, one each for our office (200 sq ft) and the other for our master bedroom (400 sq ft). After extended research, I settled on 45i units primarily based their very low noise rating. The units arrived in 3 days; were easily set up and activated. The first night we noticed a major improvement in air quality. No sleep interruptions experienced from "hacking and coughing". The next morning my usual morning sneezing attacks were also gone. It's amazing the difference. Days later, we also noticed the absence of the usual white dust accumulations for a nearby calcium processing plant. The 45i units are indeed very low noise units. We intentionally bought oversize units for the area being served. Using "Auto" mode results in the units selecting the lowest speed setting to provide the highest quality air. Manually selecting speed 2 results in improving the entire first flour (another 1200 sq ft). Based on the outstanding performance experienced so far, we intend to purchase 2 more units soon, (1 for kitchen and 1 for den/dining room) which will complete coverage for entire first floor. I want to thank all the people who "chatted" with me multiple times; assisting me through the entire process. Technical support has been excellent. Overall, completely satisfied!
