I have allergies, mostly to dust, mold and tree pollen. And since I bought the Alen BreatheSmart 45i with Fresh filter for my bedroom, I have not woke up with stuffy or runny nose requiring allergy medication. I don't have to wear a mask when I work in the garden. I highly recommend it for people that suffer allergies.

It seems to have the desired results-air in the bedroom seems clear of dust particles. We have reduced the number of times we vacuum the room by half..
No instruction booklet was included. I downloaded a copy and a customer rep said one is on the way in the mail. It's always good to have a hard copy.
L:ike to have a better understanding on the best way to clean the black pre-filter. More to learn.

A life saver

I bought one for the bedroom and I couldn’t believe how well we slept at night as well as how much dust and dander the filter catches. It worked so well I bought a second for the living room. There lest dust I the house and the air is so much better.

We purchased this air purifier

We purchased this air purifier after moving into our home after a major renovation. It has been working great and we leave it on 24/7. It is quiet and we like the look of it as well. My only concern is that the filters are pretty pricy in comparison to the Bissel air purifier that we have. Overall happy with the purchase.

Upgraded features are worth it

This I my 2nd Alen purifier (I already own the Flex, which I use in a bedroom). I opted for the 45i this time to cover a larger area and because the 45i has an air quality light indicator that changes color based upon the air quality, which the Flex does not have. The 45i also has an "auto" setting, which the Flex does not have.
I appreciate having these two controls very much - I can see when the air quality changes by looking at the indicator. I also appreciate the "auto" fan speed technology - the unit works harder or less hard as needed.
Overall I am pleased with the product.
