It is almost silent on

It is almost silent on the lowest speed and when I am cooking in the kitchen (room adjacent to the purifier) it does indeed sense the smells and kick the speed up a notch or two. Mind you, this is not when I am producing any smoke from cooking, just regular cooking smells. So I am very pleased. I can turn the ionizer on or off depending on what I want and all it's very easy to operate. I've had it only a few weeks, but I am impressed. Noise and ease of use were a major factor for me. Time will tell if it helps to reduce dust and I will post if in the future if I find it does help.

I love my new 45i

I love my new 45i Air Purifier. What a difference it's made in my life. I am able to breathe better, and sleep so much better and I don't wake up coughing. The machine is so quiet that I don't even know it's on. I purchased two of the 45i's and am getting ready to purchase two more. Knowing that the air I'm breathing is clean is such a piece of mind. If you're contemplating buying a unit, don't wait. Buying an Alen BreatheSmart Air Purifier was one of the best investments I've ever made.

Best air purifier I've ever used

Feeling pretty grateful for this thing right now as I've just moved into a house that has a small amount of mold in the air that I'm trying to get rid of. Cleaning surfaces like crazy with fungicide and eliminating the source, but grateful to have such a high quality of air purifier to help in the process.
My allergic reaction to mold is almost completely gone - just a bit more work to do on surfaces. Thanks so much, Alen.

A Lifesaver!!

Moved to a new place that I can tell has not been thoroughly cleaned and dusted in a while. And with dust being my one allergy, I refused to sleep in my bedroom for two weeks before getting my Alen. The difference it has made in the air quality in my bedroom is amazing. Much more tolerable and once I vacuum the hard to reach areas by the ceiling, I’ll finally feel at ease. The sensor is super sensitive as even moisture in the air is considered a “pollutant”, but super powerful machine and let’s me know it works. So no complaints here.
