Control module not working

I just received the breathesmart 45i set it up, but the control module isn’t working. You can not turn it on or off, or change the speed. If you press speed, or any other button than lock it changes the auto to on or off. If I press speed it changes auto which makes no sense. It only stays on speed 1 and can’t be changed nor can I turn it on or off with the power button.

The capacitive sensitive control panel that holds the current settings (instead of resetting them) is a good improvement. From an engineering perspective, the fan is mismatched to the filter in that it labors at higher speeds.

Auto mode not working

As of right now I am not satisfied with the breathesmart 45i because the auto mode is not working and I am waiting on a fix.

Clean air but......

I now have Better air quality. Cleans air quite quickly. Three things I hope would be considered, if not, hopefully in the works:
1. Auto ShutOff or Idle mode once air is clean to conserve energy.
2. Bluetooth capability or an app to control it wirelessly & remotely.
3. A single filter for everything. I have the silver filter, does not seem to remove cooking odors very well.

Hi Lorraine! I'm happy to hear this helps at least somewhat! To respond to your notes - 1. We do not have these turn off because if the machine isn't running, it's not cleaning your air - this means particles will quickly build back up. The unit uses very little energy as it is, so there's not much need to conserve energy (especially if you're running it on the low speeds). 2.
There is an app in the works, we're just not sure when we'll be able to release it - we won't release anything until it's ready to blend seamlessly into your everyday life. 3. There will eventually be a filter that will both kill germs and bacteria and handle stronger odors. I'm not certain when we'll have them in stock, but it is in the works!

Breath Smart 45i

I’m very happy with my new Breath Smart. I already had the larger unit because there are some small amounts of mold spores measured in my condo. I feel much better now that I believe I have the entire space being more breathable with my air purifiers.
