Just purchased the 45i for my son's bedroom. We just moved in and noticed a bad smell of fire smoke coming from the room. The 45i did a good job getting some of the odor out, but we still have a faint smell. Not sure what to do.

Lightweight but Mighty!

I bought this for my bf because he struggles with allergies. We've had it since March and it's helped with his snoring a bit, too. The Alen has pretty much been on Turbo 90% of the time since we got it and the filter is still in the green! The turbo setting can be a bit loud but it isn't obnoxious. Very easy to carry/lift. It is powerful for its size and a great investment for those wanting to try out a quality purifier for the first time. I love this Alen and am itching to get another!

Believe we sleep Better Now

I purchased the 75i and 45i from Alen and believe it is making a difference. The first night my husband and I commented that we think we slept much better with the 45i in the bedroom. We don't notice any smell but then as explained to me by Amanda, clean air doesn't have a smell! I have removed the filter on both units and do not see any debris in the filter which I was told that I would noticeably see. Not sure why I don't see anything on the filter but I don't. The units are quiet and not at all the noise level I feared. I put them both on turbo in the beginning but backed off the speed after a week.

Better than previous models!

Having owned an Alien air purifier for years, our unit started making noises. Alen replaced the unit with a newer model since ours was no longer made at no charge! Best warranty of any out there. I decided to add another new 45i for the main area of the house and they are so much nicer looking, quieter and have an Auto mode that senses what speed to run based on air quality. They even have a lights out mode if that bothers you in your bedroom! Best money you will ever spend if you have allergies, pets etc.!

Amazing Product

I did a lot of research before purchasing and so glad I found Alen. The quality is wonderful and it is very quiet while on the lower two levels. I can really tell a difference health wise. My husband and I could tell a difference within the first day we used it!
