I had one 75i and bought an another because i have a good friend who visits and is allergic to cats. The purifier would not start when i got it. I laid it on its side, shook it around a bit , heard a big clunk and it started. Hope it is working the way it is supposed to.

So far we love our new air purifier. The biggest advantage over another premium air purifier we have is the relative quietness of the Alen. The Alen’s turbo mode is quieter than the other air purifier’s lowest setting! Other advantages include the auto mode which automatically adjusts the unit’s operation as the air quality changes, the color-coded air quality monitor and 5 speed levels.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It runs very quiet and I like being able to "shutdown" the lights . Sometimes I put my hand over the vents to be sure it's working.

I have been pleasantly surprised that my air quality improved overnight! I no longer see floating dust when the sun shines through my windows! I now own TWO of these amazing air purifiers and plan to add a third in the lower level.

So far so good. It is a big investment for me but I have high hopes. It is quiet and seldom really turns on. When I’m in the kitchen it comes on but I don’t know if that is normal or a result of my cooking. Ha
