Initial Impressions

I live in Washington State and after the forest fires this summer, my wife and I decided to purchase an air purifier for the house. The house already has a state-of-the art heat pump system with a good filtration system, but the air purifer was purchased to provide an even higher level of quality. After the first 2 weeks, I'm quite satisfied with the BreatheSmart. It arrived right on time and was very simple to unpack and put in operation--no complex instruction manual requiring hours of study. The first thing we noticed was how quiet the machine is. I was slightly concerned that it might emit a constant background noise of air being pulled in and pushed out, but we are both, quite literally, unable to hear it at all, even in the dead of night. Fortunately, the smoke from the forest fires has vanished (for now) so I'm not able to say anything yet about the effectiveness of the machine when pushed to the max, but I'll have something to say on that matter when and if the smoke returns. But I feel like I'm as ready as I can be for whatever may come this way.

Quiet!

Setup and operation are simple. I can't believe how quiet it is. We had it on high speed, and I thought it was on low based on the sound. On the lower settings you can even tell it's on at all.
The air quality color indicator is handy, we notice it ticking up when cooking, etc. But then it pretty quickly goes back down as the purifier is running.
We have it located in a common area on the first floor of our house, which is about 1500 square feet on that level. It seems to do a good job keeping up with that amount of space.

Best Filter Out There!

I noticed an immediate difference in my lung health after buying the Alen BreatheSmart 75i, and now I can't live without it. After years of trying other HEPA filters, I'm convinced there's no other filter quite like an Alen.

So far, so good! I have a sudden cat allergy for almost a year now, and had the Alen classic in my bedroom. I just bought this purifier for the rest of the house, and it’s been helping. The air feels cleaner and lighter.

A+ Air Purifier

I’m doing a remodel so there’s dust everywhere. My Alen BreatheSmart 75i arrived to save the day. It is a large unit and essentially noise-free. I was disappointed the “wood look” face is not real wood. It’s easy to operate at just a touch of a button. I like the color gauge that let’s you know how pure the air is. Overall, A+. And I want to buy another for my living room and kitchen.

Air purifier works great and is super quiet. Got the purifier to help clean the air in our den and first floor. My sons and I are asthmatic and we can breathe nice and clear now.
