It seems very sensitive and responds quickly to cooking and the burning of our wood stove. Air seems much cleaner and there is less dust on surfaces.

My 75i has been up

My 75i has been up and for 3 days. I live in the Northeast, so my windows have not been opened to truly test the ability to strain out allergens. When the blower in the hot air ducts is going the air purifier drops to its lowest level, clearly telling me that the ducts need to be cleaned, the furnace included. That knowledge alone makes it worthwhile. What I particularly appreciate is that there is very little drain on the electric grid in this part of the state, because it operates continually drawing only the wattage of a 45 watt light bulb. I am more than satisfied with its performance thus far, and the real test will come in the Spring when all the pollen and other plant allergens come floating in my windows.

Noticeable difference

We’ve had our unit running for this last week and there’s a very noticeable difference in the air in the house. Our house is open concept, two floors, about 1,500 sq ft. We have a known mold problem - our landlord refuses to treat (currently in a dispute in court), so for the interim we have this unit now running. My wife and son have had respiratory issues since moving into this house (we were unaware of the mold until recently, it is behind the drywall). However, this last week everyone has been feeling better and the air feels crisp. The light was running between orange and purple when our hvac would kick on and kick up the air. It appears to have a handle on the house now, we are hoping to test the air quality by another mold company in the near future. Things appear to be better.

Great Filter

We wanted a quality house filter to curb allergies and handle smoke from Colorado and surrounding states wildfires. The Alen tested well with Consumer Reports so we decided to try it.
The shipping box is great. Perfect fit for the filter. High quality unit both in look and feel. Simple and intuitive to use. It’s practically plug and play simple to get started.
I’d like to see maybe a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year w/o a filter subscription. Mainly due to making it forever with a filter renew subscription could run many years. Factor in the cost of the filter I feel 3 years warranty despite the subscription is fair. Otherwise it is a great filter. Very stylish.

Great high quality product. Very quiet and very sensitive to changes in air quality in the house. Customer service is also great - had a small issues signing up for automatic filter replacement and they took care of it immediately while I was on the phone. Pretty expensive but I think it is worth it. Very satisfied.

I own two now in

I own two now in my home and they work reallly good. My wife bought two for her personal home whre her son lives, and she also bought one for her daughters house. I think this pretty much speaks for itself.the only complaint i have is the price. I do believe it is way overpriced.
