Love this air purifier! We put it on our main floor. We no longer smell cat liter from downstairs. Can also see the colors change when the air quality goes bad to better (for example when we cook) We love it so much we just bought the smaller one for our room!
It is also comforting to have an air purifier that works to help with our health especially during this pandemic.

Great Filter

I was perhaps a bit shocked how physically BIG this unit is but it's stylish and I no longer notice it. What I do notice is CLEAN AIR. We have a lot of allergy problems in my household and the Alen BreathSmart 75i seems to be doing an excellent job of removing particles, odors and pet dander from the house. You can actually watch it work. The status light tells you the quality of the air. When somebody goes in or out of the house or something fragrant is cooking, the status typically changes to lower quality and the "auto" setting kicks the fan up higher. If it isn't working fast enough for you, you can manually turn the fan up to high speed and the air is typically clean in minutes. And it's QUIET. We don't even notice it, most of the time.

75i Great Unit

Hello,
Great Unit No complaints. Had the 45i for my room decided to commit to a larger model for the living room, and have already noticed the improvments regarding less dust in my furniture and in general because i have dogs it makes a huge difference.

I am not ready to give five stars. That said I am very impressed with how this filter quickly senses the impurities and goes into to turbo mode to clean air. I lit a very non-scent candle and within 30 seconds the machine sensed it and want to clean the air that I did not sense needed to be cleaned.

6-month update

I tried to find my original review for the 75i but couldn't... anyway, I wanted to give an update because I'm still so impressed with the Alen company and my purifier. I keep it on top speed all the time and the sound isn't too noticeable. It's pleasant, if anything, and helps me fall asleep. All I have to do to care for it is vacuum the outermost filter ever 2-3 months-- and I'm amazed at how much dust and grime it gets out of the air! The main filter looks a bit wild at this point, but just means its doing its job. Our air quality is so much better and I don't get frequent migraines as I used to. Before, if I swat at the couch, a cloud of dust would come up. Now, there's nothing! I'd very much recommend this!
