A little frustrated...

We just purchased the Alen BreatheSmart 75i yesterday - everything seems to work, though, it is taking an incredibly long amount of time to clean the air. We've had it running on auto for almost 24 hours in our bedroom with the door shut, and it's only gotten to the "orange" air-quality ring. Thus, in my opinion, this device runs loud. Also, I have tried powering off the display lights (which works), but when I try to power back on the display lights on the 2nd press the device turns off (as it should). The problem is that when I try and turn the 75i back on by tapping the "power button" on the display, the device will not turn back on! Twice, I have been forced to take off the front cover, remove the filter, re-insert the filter, and place the front cover back on the device for the power to return. At that point, I am able to press the power button and the device turns back on. If this is by design, it's a major flaw, in my opinion. Otherwise, it's an aesthetically pleasing product, matches well with our furniture, and though loud, emits a pleasant sound - I find it very soothing.

We are still trying to see if it will work

Our 80 year old house has a funky smell. We bought the Alen BreatheSmart 75i AND the heavy odor filter. It has been going 24/7 for 3 days and so far no difference. We are giving it a full week before we make any decisions

nice unit/ very smart/ can keep it in the bedroom and it doesn't wake us up/needs a handle that you can hold onto. this one could easily slip out of your hand and the 75i is not a light unit. Otherwise great product and so far great service/ also very easy to change filter.
