Life of filter

Definitely making a difference in the quality of my air.
I put the setting on high as instructed if there are a lot of cat dander and dog dander.
Has definitely helped, but the warning light for my filter is going off and I have not run it for six months yet. I ordered a new filter and signed up for the automatic shipping for every six months. The information that was given said that the filters should last for eight months, but it will be 6 months for me.

Christmas gift

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her family. they do not have it yet. I also purchased the same gift for my other daughter 2 years ago who had 2 kids, a dog and a cat. she loves it! She said it works really well at keeping down dust and pet dander.

Breathing with a sigh of relief!

After the unimaginable Thomas Fire in Santa Barbara our home was Smokey. We ordered a few fit50 machines. They are attractive, light weight and relatively quiet. In a matter of hours our air was crisp and clean. My oldest daughter ( who is allergic to our two labs), came home for the holidays, she had no allergic reactions to the dogs. For the first time in 5 years she didn’t have to take allergy medication!

The FIT50 has met my expectations. Set up was not difficult, and I definitely notice a difference in the air quality in my home. Also, the representative I dealt with was very courteous, helpful and professional.

I purchased the BreatheSmart Fit50

I purchased the BreatheSmart Fit50 and got it the beginning of January--I've had it exactly a month now. It was extremely easy to unpack and set up. I have it in my bedroom and have been running it 24/7 on auto mode. I am very allergic to dust, dust mites and cats. I bought an Alen cuz I was at a friend's who had 2 cats and I had no trouble at all! So the first day I ran this, I still woke up stuffed up. The second day, symptoms were a little bit better. Upon waking the third day--I was clear!! And have been ever since! So happy!! I am so pleased with it that I bought the larger BreatheSmart for my kitchen/great room area. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I still see dust in the air in my bedroom & bath. So it's not getting it all. Hopefully the second unit will help. It is very quiet at the lower settings. It is louder at the high setting but not annoyingly so. I love that you can turn the lights off at night by pressing the on/off button once (twice turns it off). I also like that you can turn the ion off or on. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Alen BreatheSmart air purifiers.

I am an allergy and asthma sufferer. Before I had this purifier, I would need to use my asthma inhaler daily, and would suffer from various allergy symptoms throughout the week. After using the Fit50 for the past two weeks, I have not had any need to use my inhaler, and I feel much relieved from all the allergy symptoms. It was a pretty expensive product, but totally worth it to have clean air.
