So far, so good! I don’t use it continuously, and purchased it because of airborne particles. It’s quiet, and doesn’t weigh much so I alternate between having it in the great room or master bedroom.

Great quality air filter

Bought one of these for each of our rooms, after having tried out one in our bedroom for a couple months. The air quality is much improved - fresher smelling and reduced allergy symptoms (I got the upgraded charcoal filter). They definitely pull in a lot of impurities, as I find it necessary to clean the prefilters weekly, because of a visible layer of accumulated dust. I tend not to like appliance noise, but find these to be reasonably quiet on the middle speed (similar to the sound of central a/c running through vents), and barely noticeable on the lowest setting. Highly recommend if you are looking for a high quality air filter!

Best air cleaner and best company

Our entire house has an Alen in every room. You can feel the difference and there's no dust anywhere. These air cleaners are amazing and when one of our unit was making a little noise recently, we called Alen and they sent out a new unit no questions asked. Incredible lifetime guarantee!

I already had a 45I

I already had a 45I and 65I, but forest-fire AQI in the Pacific Northwest was so bad I recently added your on-sale classic. I am disappointed. On automatic, it runs in the orange when, right next to it, the 65i or 45i is in the green or even blue.
When running on automatic the Classic is almost always in the orange. Even when I run it in a small closed bathroom for a while, it still shows orange. I would like to return it.
