Nice unit for large space

I bought a BreatheSmart air purifier with HEPA-silver filter for my full basement because the air in the basement seemed a bit stale due to lack of fresh air circulation. Within 24 hours of installing the BreatheSmart the air in my basement was noticeably fresher and probably much healthier.

These products have preformed Excellently. My wife & I are very please with how quiet they are. My wife who has the allergy problems and has noticed a big difference in the overall air quality in our home. all we can say at this time is keep up the Great work at Alen Live Better!!! Thanks

Optimistic but still testing...

I haven't had my Alen air purifier very long, so I'm not real sure yet. I admit that I have it in an area a little larger than it stated it could handle, and I do think I notice the air is better when I'm closer to where the unit stands.
I've also noticed that my Alen kicks into high mode when my furnace comes on which makes me believe I need to have my furnace ducts cleaned?
I'm feeling positive though and may write a better review after I've had it a while longer.

One year in and 1 of the 2 units purchased has begun to malfunction...

My overall experience with this unit has been good. I purchased 2 of them at the same time and both went into service in my home (different rooms) the same day. They are quiet, sleek, and do a good job at keeping the air clean. Regarding less dust, I can't say that I notice a difference, but I think it is fair to say that there is a noticeable difference in air quality.
The price for replacement filters is on the expensive side and one of the drawbacks of this unit. 1 of my 2 units has begun to malfunction so I am about to put the "Lifetime Limited Warranty" to the test. I don't anticipate any issues with repairing but time will tell.
The malfunctioning unit notwithstanding (things with mechanical parts sometimes break) I am overall satisfied with the quality, performance and design. I would recommend this to a friend but would take into consideration the cost of filters compared to existing options if I were purchasing another air purifier today. I will be sure to write another review on my experience with the warranty which will be a testament, (one way or another) to this unit and company.

I DOn't See a Difference...

The quality and finish of the Breathesmart is impeccable; it's a beautiful machine and was definitely built with precision...it operates flawlessly, is ridiculously quiet, and looks amazing...BUT, I see no difference with my allergies after a few weeks of having it run. I have severe dust allergies, along with pollen, and don't see any difference with how stuffy y nose is when I wake up, and I have this thing running about 2 feet from my bed. I was hoping that this was going to make my allergies to dust (and everything else) go completely away, but I see no change at all unfortunately. I also see no difference in the "feel" or "smell" of the air int the house...other people mentioned a massive change in the feel of the air quality...I don't.

Filter always runs hard... stays on orange or red settings constantly

First off, l believe the air cleaner is working. I have slept better since I have used the filter in my bedroom. But I think the machine is running too hard and will have a short life. When on the auto setting, it runs on orange or red constantly. Even if it's on for 10-12 continuous hours. I have performed all the cleaning steps as instructed, but the air filter never runs on the blue setting. I have called Alen Corp as well for a solution, and was directed back to cleaning the sensor. Probably, the sensor is faulty, causing the machine to run too hard. But we will see...
