Clean AIr Again

We live in the desert and have blowing dust. We both have allergies and asthma. After installing the Alen BreatheSmart Air Purifier in our great room, the air in our home is very clean and the unit is not very loud. Thank you Alen for making such an effective, modern looking product.

Outstanding Product & Service

I ordered two BreatheSmart units and one Paralda unit for my house. We have 3200 sq. ft. four kids, two dogs and three cats. I placed my order yesterday afternoon at 1:54 PM. I rec'd my shipping confirmations at 4:11 PM. All three air purifiers and replacement filters (I ordered as well) showed up at 2:20 PM today! I was dumbfounded, but happy! Inside of 20 minutes my husband and I read through the quick-start guides and had all three filters placed and running! Very easy. It's 3:45 now and I can already tell a difference in the air quality. The air seems lighter and cleaner. I'm excited to see how everyone will sleep tonight. Thank you so much Alen for helping us breathe well. We're very happy with your product and will recommend to family & friends.

We bought this purifier to help with our kids severe seasonal allergies. The ionizer works fast to bring down the pollen levels -within minutes - and is required only a few times a week as the regular mode works very efficiently to keep the levels low. The worst season is ragweed which is only in 3 months so I hope it keeps up! Very good investment for our household, highly recommended... And it looks great too!

Asthma & allergies

I'm in my 30's and have severe asthma that often lands me in the hospital for a week during the fall due to severe fall allergies. I'll get a cold that rapidly declines into a respiratory illness. After being hospitalized again last year, I purchased two of the BreatheSmart units, one for a large bedroom and the other for an open living room/kitchen with vaulted ceilings. My specialist recommended I keep the windows shut this year (sad face) and run the purifiers. I have officially passed the dates that I am usually hospitalized and still feeling healthy. I'm giving credit to the filters.
I believe in the case of air purifiers, you get what you pay for. It's large but not unsightly and creates a pleasant white noise. In the bedroom, if the unit is running on high and we're watching TV, we do have to turn the volume up louder than usual. It's not a big problem, though, and I like that we can take it off the auto setting if it's bugging us. It was very thoughtful to include an option to turn off the lights on it, too.
Taking it out of the box and setting it up was a snap. Best packaging I have ever seen on a delivery. I'm saving the nice boxes just in case I need to use the limited lifetime warranty (also appreciate that they offer this.) The build of the actual unit is impressive. Sleek, easy to use, and easy to change the filters, convenient hidden handle. They took care with the details. The washable foam pre-filter is also a nice feature to extend the life of the filter. You'll be amazed when you check on it in a few months.
One benefit I had not thought about until I saw someone else point it out was the reduction of dust in the house. I thought, oh yeah - I actually am not dusting that often! I had been leery about investing so much money in a product that didn't have a CADR rating. I think they did a nice job explaining why they don't go through know much about but ultimately went ahead with it because I needed to do something and these covered a lot of square footage. Also liked that they were BBB accredited since they were not CADR tested/rated. They did a nice job explaining on their website why they aren't, though.
All in all, appears to be a thoughtful company that takes pride in their products. Most importantly, the units helped keep me healthy this fall. Thank you!
