[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always purchased Jennair downdraft stoves. This new one that I purchased has all the panels on top, which is different from my previous stoves. I do not ike this new stove due to the location of the knobs and control panel. It is very easy to accidently turn the oven on without me even knowing it, while wiping the surface. I have to keep it lock always, which is troublesome. I prefer the old stove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 40 year old JenAir with the Rise. What a difference. The oven is very large and the stove is very clean and easy to use. If you have a downdraft range, this is the way to go.
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range replaced our 25 year old comparable Jennaire. The stove top is much improved with serious burners amd a constant range top of large pots amd skillets. We are still getting used to how well it works! Amd it is easy to clean. The downdraft filter panel has to be forded into its position, but cleaning this filter isn’t something I need to do daily. We had to replace our original range with another downdraft design. Jen air was our choice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is terrible and the dial plate is with the press digital screen that turns on every time you try to clean it. The design itself is way oversized and does not have to be. It's ugly and sticks out way too far. Only gas stove with built in exhaust fan is the only reason we bought it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a gas stove top and an electric oven in my previous home and I have missed the gas range since this house had only electric. I had to learn a new way to cook which was both slower and difficult to make small adjustments. The stove/oven is beautiful and every part is high quality. There is one problem though and that is the the flame is way too hot. Does it have some kind of regulator to lower the amount of gas burned per the controls? I have been cooking on the opposite side of the stove because those are the two smallest burners. I plan on contacting the installer to see if an adjustment to the flame is possible
Pros: Convenient, Attractive Design, Quality Construction
