Good stove but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always purchased Jennair downdraft stoves. This new one that I purchased has all the panels on top, which is different from my previous stoves. I do not ike this new stove due to the location of the knobs and control panel. It is very easy to accidently turn the oven on without me even knowing it, while wiping the surface. I have to keep it lock always, which is troublesome. I prefer the old stove.
Pros: Attractive Design, Quality Construction

A learning curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my dual fuel downdraft range for over a month now, and I am just now getting comfortable with cooking on the cooktop. I am a newbie to gas cooking and at first it was just too much, too hot, too hot, too hot! I watched a YouTube video about turning down the gas supply to each burner and that helped a little bit. I still think they should be turned down more, but we did as much as allowed by the stove. Also, I don't understand why the installers didn't share that this might be a problem, or why they didn't go ahead and fix it initially. Only the back left burner will allow for a slow simmer. The other three burners are too high even on low. I have to remove the pan and let it cool and then place back on the burner. But I am learning and I know now I cannot walk away when say frying something because it will cook so quickly and perhaps burn. Maybe this is just part of learning to cook with gas. Definitely not what I expected. Oven is fantastic. Love the air fry feature.

Generally good upgrade but with a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace an older dual fuel downdraft range and the stove and oven are a definate inprovement. However, the placement of the electronic controls on a horizontal surface is a problem as they are way too easy to activate during normal cooking activities. Also, the installation required some major work on the flooring as the downdraft was not even close to where the older one was located. I think I'll opt for installing an overhead draft and buy a conventional range the next time around.

Too deep for surrounding cabinets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gas range top works well and is very attractive. Overall, the range is too deep and sticks out from my countertops. It's frustrating because I purchased the same Jenn Air range as I had before and the depth measurements matched. The interior of the range is a muddied gray color - could have been designed with a prettier interior color such as the royal blue inside my kitchen aid wall oven.
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Bulky
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
