Many shortcomings

While picture is wonderful, this set has many shortcomings. It requires that you unplug the set in order to reset it after being unable to connect to apps. This happens multiple times each week. The smart controller is not user friendly and very hard to learn how to accomplish the most simple tasks. Do nit plan on purchasing another LG.

If you're experiencing app connection issues that require unplugging the TV to reset, we recommend power cycling the TV by turning it off using the remote, unplugging it from the outlet, waiting 60 seconds, then plugging it back in. Also, check for software updates by pressing the Home button, navigating to Settings > All Settings > General > About This TV, and selecting “Check for Updates.” Resetting smart features by going to Settings > All Settings > General > Reset to Initial Settings—or reinstalling apps from the LG Content Store—can help restore smooth performance. For the best connectivity, try a strong Wi-Fi signal or wired Ethernet connection, and consider restarting your router. Disappointing purchase

Bought this tv July 2024 and so not even 2 years with it and the screen does not stay on. When I try to turn it on it just shows two white lines and after 5 seconds it shuts off.
