Replaced a 13-yr old 42" Plasma, which had exemplary picture quality until it died. LG is approximately same overall size but lighter & thinner. Picture is, of course excellent, maybe better than my LG oled65b6. Built in sound is thin and flat at best and should be replaced with external system. WebOS has changed, with some features (eg: screen off, sleep timer) more easily accessible. WebOS interface is cluttered and focused on sales; I'm not a fan: suggest an external streamer. Remote is adequate; it's a remote and it works. I like the rechargeable feature, don't use the earbuds or spoken commands.
I'd give 5 stars for the picture and overall quality of the machine, between 3 & 4 for poor audio and cluttered, sales-focused WebOS interface. I'd like to give a more nuanced rating, like 4.5, but that's not an option, hence 4 stars.
