Disappointed and the insights suck

Majority of the time it can’t generate the video when I check notifications. I used the trial for insights and they were never accurate timing wise. It also won’t let me set the date properly.
Finally the temperature and humidity are very hit and miss whether it actually reads it.

0/100. Continously disconnects, image freezes for minutes while baby is moving around. Have followed all of Nanits recommendations for connectivity, is on a Wifi 6E network very close to an access point.
Image quality is terrible. Think early 2000's webcam quality. Logs you out of the ios app all the time. 15+ seconds of lag. We have two Nanit cameras and despite being beside each other, temp and humidity readings are never the same, leading me to doubt that these devices are accurate.

Fraudulent practices from Nanit

Returned the pro camera with stand.
Once I was setting it up, I finally realized (after having done much research before buying without ever finding this information), that almost all the features that make this camera interesting are behind a subscription paywall.

We are talking about 3 different plan levels going between 100$ to 300$ per year !!!
Pay also attention in the other reviews. You will find that about 90% of them a sponsored thus unreliable really...

It’s alright…

I don’t usually write reviews but felt inclined to post this one for people who are in the market. I’m rather particular when it comes to researching and finding the best product and landed on this product.
The quality of the video and noise is great. For the first 6 months, Nanit gives you free access to their “insights plan” which is a lot of the desirable features that are advertised. After 6 months, you have to pay for all of this which is $180 CAD. There have been times were the camera has lost connection and we have to walk into the room and reset it which is the last thing you want to do. After the 6 months with no insights, you’re basically left with a camera that works on your phone with minimal features. You think paying 500$ + for a baby camera, that would be included. Little bit annoyed with that so I’m writing this review. I would also not purchase this product if you’re looking for anything that has versatility to be moved around. As I’m writing this, I currently don’t have connection to my camera and our wifi signal is excellent.
