Don't be a sucker.

I cannot recommend Nanit. They continue to nickel and dime you and then even more so when you have your second kid. Don't be the sucker I was and get sucked into their ecosystem. Just go buy anything else.

Picture quality is great. The information the app gives you about baby’s sleep is super helpful and it gives you advice on how to improve. Our favorite feature is the Nanit band that tracks breathing. It gives you peace of mind that everything is ok!

We were very excited about our Nanit to start. However, we will not be planning a renewal after our trial subscription service is up, in fact I can’t imagine how much further disappointment I would feel if we had paid extra for the subscription at this time. Footage and recording is spotty, notifications very delayed and we find it doesn’t capture or alert us in moments we really would like/need to see (like baby getting stuck in spindles or doing a full 180/360 in the crib). I’ve tried all of the reset tricks and tips and we have great internet connection- I’ve even followed some tips from a Reddit rabbit hole. Sometimes even long after we have left the house and shut off the camera we will be notified of a “cry” at the crib. Despite adjusting notification sensitivity and troubleshooting we still run into issues. Honestly might trade this in for a non wifi old school monitor. Sad to say I’m very disappointed after how highly rated and reviewed this product is.

I absolutely love having my Nanit. It is the most important item on a baby registry. Being able to see my baby sleeping from any other place in my house makes night time and nap time stress free.

Overpriced Subscription! Stay away.

Subscription is way overpriced. Also, if you have two cameras you now have to double the cost of an already overpriced system. I don't want or need all the gimmicks, just basic knowledge of activity.
